Bereavement Committee

In April 1986, two of St Therese's parishioners were asked to form a Bereavement Committee. When families are grieving, it is difficult to concentrate on the liturgy, selecting readings and music, or composing petitions. We have learned to encourage relatives to take an active part in the readings and the offertory gifts. Our most important gift to those families is to LISTEN to what is in their hearts.
